SAFIE

Safie is inspired by a character in Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. The book is one of my favorites, published in 1818, making this year the 200th anniversary.
Mary Shelley's Frankenstein is considered a masterpiece of horror and the macabre and is listed by the Guardian as ranking no. 8 of all time best novels..
“The world to me was a secret, which I desired to discover; to her it was a vacancy, which she sought to people with imaginations of her own.”
― Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, Frankenstein
The notes in this inspired perfume conjure an atmosphere of earthiness, darkness, warmth and comfort. The kinds of things you sense while reading different parts of the book.
The main notes being Earth and root, Vanilla, Spice and dark woods with hints of Autumn leaves. Perfect for a night of reading Gothic book or watching Gothic film and a wonderful gift for the goth, perfumista, or literary minded person.
"How slowly the time passes here, encompassed as I am by frost and snow "
